The Brandon Caribbean American Cultural Association (BCACA) successfully hosted its annual Back to School event on Sunday, July 27th, bringing together children and families from the surrounding communities for a day of fun and preparation for the new school year.

Twenty-nine children and their parents attended the three-hour event, which was packed with child-friendly games, including the all-time favorite, Musical Chairs. The kids' laughter and excitement filled the air as they competed and played. The event also featured a guest speaker, Tony Smith of KCOB (KC Old Boys), who shared an inspiring message with the attendees.

After everyone enjoyed a delicious meal, the moment everyone had been eagerly anticipating arrived: the backpack giveaway. Each child received a backpack filled with essential school supplies, ensuring they are well-equipped and ready to learn.

The event concluded with a heartfelt thank-you speech from BCACA's Outreach Chairperson, Judy Howard, who expressed her gratitude to everyone who attended and helped make the day a memorable and impactful experience for the community.
